“My grandmother was my first university; she
was a healer and midwife... I started learning many things from her, as well as coca reading. I began to seek more information about the origin of the coca leaves and why the native people were still using them. In doing this I found the life philosophy of the Aymaras still living in this part of the world and following their traditional healing practices.” In the Evening Talk, Silvia will introduce
much of her wisdom tradition and lay the foundation for the next two days of teachings and ceremony in the workshops to follow. In the Workshop Series you will learn about the Seven Temples and the significance of the snake as the symbol of the purest, original, feminine energy. Silvia will teach us how to connect and awaken serpentine medicine, the powerful force that lives inside us and Mother Earth, and share practices from her Andean traditions. We will be taking part in water and fire ceremonies with “Ayni” - living in a state of gratitude and reciprocity as an essential ingredient of living a sacred life in harmonious balance with all of creation
