camping & lodging
relationship, respect, ritual and reciprocity
Earthland Community Village is primarily a camping event with limited indoor lodging available through Earthlands. Over the years, we have been cultivating a relationship with this sacred land, requesting permission and making offerings to support this weekend ceremonial gathering. Please take a moment to learn more about Earthlands and The University of the Wild and the incredible stewardship that has returned a portion of the land back to the Nipmuc people indigenous to this area.
If you and-or your family would like to book indoor lodging, it must be paid for to a donation jar when you arrive at Earthlands for an additional $40 a night per Earthlands rates.
During this event, we will be anchoring ourselves in the natural world. Outhouses and indoor bathrooms are available, with options to camp closer to the indoor facilities if that is desirable. All camping will be first come first serve with exceptions for elders or participants with special needs.
There is access to running water and electricity, two outdoor showers for campers and an indoor shower for those staying in the lodge. We encourage electronics to stay in cars and there is an offsite office that can be used for folks that need to charge up and have limited but necessary communication outside of this gathering.
Please consider donating a minimum of $75 to attend this event. We are relying on your sense of reciprocity and generosity, with respect to your own given circumstances, to cover the costs of this event.
Please arrive early enough to set up your camp, but no earlier than Noon unless you have special needs. We would like to support everyone to be present for our Welcoming & Orientation.
